Go to the dealer, the computer will tell what's wrong.
You did what is possible for you as an owner.
Blindspot sensor (radar) is inside the taillight assembly(s).
Exactly! Is it supposed to be in both tail lights? If it was missing shouldn't there be a wire hanging where it plugs in?That's weird, it should be there where the imprint is.
The wiring is the bottom row of wires opposite the red plug release part. There is only 1 connector. But the ones that do not have it say No Connect.Exactly! Is it supposed to be in both tail lights? If it was missing shouldn't there be a wire hanging where it plugs in?
Yes... The side mirrors have the arrow indicator. They flash on and off when I start the truck.Aside from the window sticker, do the side mirrors have the BSM indicators in them?
Yes, blind spot is on the build sheet. I bought it used at a dealership in Texas. When I picked up the truck (2/2/23) we were in the middle of an ice storm. Salesman told me the error message was due to ice and snow being on the sensors. Looks like I get duped. The wiring is the bottom row of wires opposite the red plug release part. It looks like it has the wiring.
Did it just stop working? How did it work prior to this message coming up, did you turn the function ON in the radio?
Maybe someone borrowed them?
I checked the 2019 and 2021 to see if randomly changed and it looks like the same system across those years.

I think I would talk to that dealer again...
Wonder if my extended warranty will cover this?Yes, looks like someone else has your sensors.

When a dealer checks in a used vehicle they would fix any issues or one would assume. After our test drive we noticed the tail light was cracked. Salesman took it back to fix while we were in Finance. They would take my check so couldn't take delivery of the truck at that time. We came back 3 days later, paid for the truck and when I was ready to drive off the salesman opened the passenger doors and said "don't worry about the error message, it's because the sensors are muddy" we were in tail end of the ice storm in Dallas Tx. 2/3/23. It was cold and miserable and I just wanted to get out of there. So I believed him. MY MISTAKE! Obviously, they replaced the broken taillight with a non-sensor light.Does CarFax say it was wrecked or flooded? Take your vin to a local RAM service department and see if they will pull up the service history for you. You might find answers.
