I recommend reading the buyers guide for changes by year. Lots a difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen 5.9's and the 6.7's and the 4th gens. The early 6.7's ('07.5-'18) is basically a 5.9 block with the '19+ a whole new block.

That's exactly what happened to my family when we escaped Lodi, CA.... Now our small town has quadrupled in people and this part of NC is the fastest place in the country for invasion...

I have a 2020 with the CGI HO engine... I can say it tows better, has more power, and hands down is better in every way than my 04 5.9... I only miss the sound... but not enough to risk it being a brick later.

There was a decent bump in towing capacity from 18 to 19 with the CGI engine being part of that reason.

Great truck 2022 3500 ho aisin here and.yes I miss the sound of my old 1999 5.9

My 15 towing beast is quiet but I get my fix every Summer using my 01 Sport towing my saltwater fishing machine.
