Tow/Haul Modes

Before I got the 67A update I had two modes of Tow/Haul. Push the button once, and the indicator illuminated yellow. Push it again and it turned green. I remember reading that one of the modes was called automatic; I don't remember what the other was or what the difference was between the two. I got the 67A update a couple days ago. Now I only have one mode, the one with the yellow indicator. Is this because of 67A or is something else going on? Where did I read about the different modes? I can't find anything in my manual now.

Are you sure you don't mean exhaust brake modes? It has two, yellow is full on, green is automatic. Tow/haul is on or off.

Exactly, never has been two modes of tow/haul.

Boy do I feel stupid....As I was waking up this morning it came to me. Yep, it was the exhaust brake. I just haven't towed anything in a while and got confused.

@2013megacab, sounds like you're suffering from the same issues that I have, brain farts!

Have you noticed anything different with your truck since the 67A? I haven't had enough seat time to tell with mine. Other then the component failure after the recall was done, but hey, new SCR (cat) and knock sensor! Just wanted to get some info from another member that has had it done on a truck of similar age.

I'm not sure I can blame it on the recall yet but today when I went to check the yellow green illumination on my exhaust brake it didn't work at all.

That sounds like a button issue.
