that leaves you stranded.
in my case it happened at home in the garage, but I can see where if this happened in a parking lot somewhere it would have been inconvenient.

I reclined the drivers seat all the way to vacuum down in the crevice between the upper seat and the seat bottom. so far so good... now it wont come back to the normal upright condition.

the little retainer on the mechanism decided to fall off. at home, so I was lucky.

while I was in there I decided to upgrade the rod attachment with one of the best inventions ever devised by humans.. the tie wrap.. should be good for a long time.

I guess it was never correctly snapped in from the factory.

Id still probably take duct tape in the event of catastrophe but it's likely a toss up which one is more useful in more situations.

hard to say. the truck is a 2016 but its not like I move the seatback very often either.
