Annual Maintenance Check List

:D These sloped windsheilds are hard to clean on the inside . Hard to get your arm up in there and do a good broad wipe job......I think I need to get a miget to get up on the dash and clean my windshield.

I should have left it alone. First I used windex and newspaper, looked real good. Driving late afternoon I see major streaking. Windex again with kitchen paper towels. Same thing. Ya just cant get a a good broad flat wipe purchase with you hand and arm all tweeked trying to get in there. I tried standing on the seat bent over backwards with my arm and hand between my legs, didnt work either.:eek::confused:... Streaks cause you cant get a good wide wipe going in that tight reverse sloped glass:eek:
This morning im going to try just hot water and a large folded clean microfiber cloth :D:cool::cool:

I've had great luck using Invisible Glass. It really cuts the grime that builds up from heat, A/C and the off-gassing of the plastics.

Wrap the cloth on your hand and use the back of your hand to wipe. The angle is better.

I use isopropyl alcohol with a few drops of Dawn. Wipe down with microfiber with back of hand as @NIsaacs has stated. This is a preferred mixture for any window with tint. Keep a small spray bottle with mixture in the truck along with microfiber to clean as needed. Find that I've had less "road grime" build up with this mixture than when using window cleaner. For the outside windows, I mix up distilled water, some Dawn and lemon scented Ammonia. Spray on and squeegee it off, then microfiber the edges. Just my results. YMMV.

I think I will re respond with a photo of what works well for me..
a $1.25 shower squeegee from Dollar Tree
some watered down glass cleaner applied liberally to inside windhshield and a micro fiber cloth to get the few parts I missed with the squeegee.
