I added a pacbrake relocate kit and valve where my oil pan plug was. Very well spent money for the ease of RR oil filter and oil.

I think that if your sure of the line to six is it then replace would be best.

I’m long over the warm fussy feelings. you don’t think it would be easier to get the filter loose from down there with the plastic gone,and take it out the wheel well.

Thanks for the great article. Have you used amsoil since new? I ran it in my y2k with a dual remote amsoil filters. These fourth gens are good candidates for a remote filter.

Thanks for the info.one thing I think it will offer is being able to put a oil filter socket on an extension to be able to loosen the filter,I tried this yesterday and it was not a straight enough shot.

Has anyone on here removed the plastic drip/funnel pan below the oil filter ? Did it give you access to the filter?

B and w hasn’t got them that I have found. Will keep looking
