    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission lost brake lights

    ... spent 4 hours at the dealer today... they traced the problem to a wire between the fusebox and the turn signal/ high-low beam switch in the steering column ( I'm not clear on how this affects the brake lights)... it had a scorch mark on it the tech said... problem fixed...

    I have lost my brake lights, but the back-up lights, flashers, park lights, head lights etc all work... all fuses are ok... no warning lights... same problem with trailers, all lights are working except the brake lights... check the wiring under the truck where it's not covered by sheathing...
