I have lost my brake lights, but the back-up lights, flashers, park lights, head lights etc all work... all fuses are ok... no warning lights... same problem with trailers, all lights are working except the brake lights... check the wiring under the truck where it's not covered by sheathing... switch on the brake pedal looks ok ( no loose wires etc)... any ideas???

I've seen a bad headlamp switch can do this. However, testing is in order before parts changing.

I would start with the factory service manual and work thru the circuits.

Try a little WD 40 etc. on the brake light switch to assure its not sticking. You could disconnect the b. light switch and use a jumper, brake lights? If so, likely a bad brake lamp switch.

Other things to ck. a bulb could have have burned out, and also the chbl (3rd brake light).

Let know what you find.

... spent 4 hours at the dealer today... they traced the problem to a wire between the fusebox and the turn signal/ high-low beam switch in the steering column ( I'm not clear on how this affects the brake lights)... it had a scorch mark on it the tech said... problem fixed...
