thank you dodge torque wagon for the info,just what i was wandering. the 2002 solid axle tracks and steers 100 percent better than my 2000. both are exactly the same trucks. will be talking to a friend at dynatrac about some hubs. this system when complete will be years ahead oy my current front...

does everyones 2002 have the disconnect,this was built end of january. 2500 hd 4x4 long bed quad cab. it has a reverse cut axle with no disconnect,just looking for others since all my 3 other trucks had one. :--)

this truck was ordered never even looked at the dealer lot. built end of feb in mexico,i like it without the disconnect will have some options now . :cool:

picked up 2002 and no disconnect at all wanted to know if others have the same axle or is this new to the latest run of 4x4

sawzall would not be necessary since their is no disconnect period,would someone with a jan-feb built 2002 look under their truck please:--)

SORRY FOR CAPS. THIS IS 2002 WITH A COMPLETELY STRAIGHT AXLE NO AXLE DISCONNECT PERIOD,VACUNE ETC,MY 2000 AND 99 BOTH HAVE THE DISCONNECT THE 2002 DOES NOT

DOES ANYBODY HAVE INFO ABOUT THE DELETING OF THE AXLE DISCONNECT ON A 2002. THEY NOW HAVE A STRAIGHT AXLE! WITH THE STANDARD PART TIME TRANSFER CASE

just for a heads up. that's not normal, my modified trans, built by tony at dunrite ,with over 450 rwhp,does not have to sit and wait for even two seconds. i do not have to let it idle in neutral at all for the converter to fill. i also have lock up in all 4 gears and this is not done...
