19.5's
This is interesting. I got excited about the thought of tires that would haul the weight and last forever. Got a set of 19. 5 wheels and some 225-70 19. 5 tires. So far I have not tried new tires. Got a deal on about 11- 19. 5's and am using them up first.
Because they were used...
I LIKE the results
She snaps to in the morning. Barely rotates and it is running, exhaust is clean as a whistle and it has more response. Have not checked economy accurately, yet. But it seems to be better on fuel. New injectors are right around the corner.
BTW, when I used the BFB, the...
What was your choice for new improved injectors??
How big is too big? I have been advised that POD's are too much, especially for pulling my big trailer. What was your choice?
Anybody have advise?
Carb cleaner??
I used a scriber to clean the fitting on the housing. Most of the crud was jammed in there. A little carb cleaner and a bottle brush should do the trick on the hose. ;)
BFB Works too!
I got 'er all loosened up and used a Big F'in Bar to exert some Brute Force. An extra hand from my son exerting pressure on the BFB, while I tightened the nuts kept the advance, advanced!
Snapon's SP144 wrench is great for those hard to reach/see/ loosen nuts!:D

will a 92 fit?
I just got a replacement for my 92. It is and was a cross flow? NAPA hooked me up for a reasonable price, around $200, I think. Direct replacement & the temperaure gauge has responded affirmatively to the fresh fins and tubes!! :D
2nd GEN Fits??
Has anyone done that? Used a second gen intercooler on a first gen truck??
Any suggestions for a good transmission cooler to replace my leaker?
Bought the wrench
Ordered the SP144! Pricey little bugger $37. 88 with tax and shipping!!!
But now i can make adjustments much easier!! Thanks for the tip! :)
Cooler = Better
Whenever you compress a gas, it gets hotter or has more energy making the molecules bang into eachother. Like what makes a diesel, diesel. Compression = super heated air. This is good to a point, but if the temperature gets too high, things melt. Cooler denser air makes much...
