Thanks ya'll, over 200,000 miles on truck..... never messed with timing or the overflow valve. Will start with fuel filter and checking fuel lines and go from there... ... . :D ps..... Anybody around Nashville, Tn doing pump timing ??????????? :confused:

A week ago truck just started acting sluggish, 5th gear wouldn't pull past 2500 revs, now 4th won't pull past 2500 revs and 5th won't pull past 2300 rpm's. When I try to get more revs I get alot of blue smoke and it just stumbles and chokes... ... . kinda reminds me of how it acts on a really...

I have a TST # 11 plate and a K&N filter... ... ... ... . that's it, what should I do next ?????? I don't pull a large trailer, nor do I sled pull... ..... but I do enjoy the open road torque. What do you experts think is the next logical thing to do would be ... ... . Thanks, Christian

for my 97' 3500 4X4..... if I have to spend the $$$$$ on a fully splined mainshaft for the 4500, why not just anti up for the 5600? My question to this forum is what other parts/pieces will I need... ... . clutch ????? Re-route the exhaust system ????? Mounting hardware ????? Any help would be...
