Agreed. Safer for them when we're in the dark. I was only joking in a previous post about checking too often. Who knows, maybe it's just the IT person not updating the security certificate. DC giveth and DC taketh away.
Knew I shouldn't have checked so much! I wonder if they noticed all the activity and started watching closer. Guess we'll all have to start flooding the 800 number with calls.
Great pics JSooter. I have the same flaps and liners on order. I should have them today with my truck arriving in a week or so. Have been wondering how they will look. Thanks!
wow, did you order on 4/19? I wonder why it's taking so long. It's probably because you want it so bad. I was actually hoping mine would take longer. Only because I have to sell my previous home. Two house payments really hurt. If I were in a hurry to get it, I'm sure it would be much longer...
There is some contraversy about using the test ports.
Do you mean possible trouble with using the test ports or perhaps it's not as accurate? I have the Autometer unit on order and was also wondering about the correct port.
Vaughn,
I like the throaty sound. Definitely more meatier, but it didn't seem too excessive. I will probably change the muffler when mine arrives. Is there any drone? Do you have any dislikes? I need to keep mine somewhat tame for the neighbors. I'm already the "dirtbag dirtbiker" in the...
I'd be interested to see real world results. It looks like a well made unit. I am currently gathering goodies for my new baby and wonder if this muffler should be added to my list. Do you cut the stock unit off and bolt or weld the new one in? Stainless in and out... . might actually withstand a...
It would be cool if they would be honest about the rates. We all know the reality of that. Some guys will be up front while many will lie through their teeth. When I ordered my truck I agreed to a 1% reserve. Guess I'm just a softy since I know how it is. Most guys will never know what theirs...
Ask a typical F&I guy what they make. Just because we buy a $40 K truck doesn't mean he's getting rich. My point was a markup of 1-2% does not constitute ripping anyone off, IMO. If you can get o% reserve that's awesome. That's the great thing about arranging your own financing. With today's...
!
Yeah, could have, but like they say... . "If momma's not happy, nobody's happy". Besides, the fringe benefits will be sweet. We have two awesome kids and now it's time to play. The snip was already planned. I just moved up the truck purchase to lower the "grief factor". It's too bad...
Thanks for the replys! I knew if I let the chance slip away it may not appear for a while. Since I sell hi-po auto parts, I will keep the bombing to a minimum for a bit. It's easy to go overboard in a hurry. Just plan on sticking to the basics for now.
A dealer's finance department can change interest rates depending on your credit. It's called reserve and is another way for the dealer to make money. If you score high on the ratings they can offer a lower rate. Basically if the dealer receives a rate of say 5% but offers you 6% on your...
