Bobcat698 Heh Heh, I hear you. I used to drip outta the blowby tube, at least I thought I did, then when I went to address it, it turned out to be diesel from the return line that hooks up under the intake manifold against the engine. The line was rotten. Cheers

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Miles Per Gallon ?

Pete I have averaged 15-16 mpg travelling at average speeds of 70-75 mph. This is start and stop and hwy. I also have a 4:10 ratio and one would think my mileage should be worse. Normally you would experience a slight power loss, (sluggish), and worse mileage with slipped timing. Other things to...

I may be wrong but this could be handed over to the feds as it is above $5000 and it crosses State lines. If not I feel like going fishing with concrete boots. Good luck.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 0 plate picture

I ground one like you mentioned and found that the motor ran smoother than my #10 she pulled good but it never had quite the aggression of the #10. I ended up using my # 10 again. Maybe when I get a better turbo I will try it again as I think she dumps a lot more fuel.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) suggestions,advise

Depending on who runs the dyno, they can give values that include the drag coeficient (actual values at wheels), or engine values that do not include the drag calculation. Drag is the amount of power that is robbed from the engine to the wheels due to the drivetrain etc. I dyno bikes all the...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Would I gain...

Here is what I found. When I blew my turbo I got a '99 turbo with bad wheels etc. I also liked the way the later models had the solenoid connected allowing me to discard the hard line on the earlier model. When I tried using the '99 turbine housing, it was smaller around the wheel area. I pulled...
