Jacking up
Hi guys, just . 02 dollars from a design engineer's point of view... .
The first time I crawled under my truck I was amazed at the axle design. Pieces of pipe, pressed into a differential housing..... hmmm.
My suggestion: NEVER jack up under the diff. housing. Specially in front...
That trailer was meant for Rob Hanson but thanks for the response anyway John. I know about the voidance of warranty in general but my Dodge dealer said they would install a Jacobs, leaving the 30/100 intact and give me a i year P&L on the Brake... ... . Still have to talk to them about what all...

I'm also interested in towing with my auto, but am not familiar yet with all the alphabet soup... ...

I'm also interested in adding an E-brake but it seems that some transmission mods are needed. ( Why is it called a "locking" torque converter anyway?)

Clock Spring

There is a spacer between the wheel rim and the hub on only one wheel of the truck. The truck in question is a 98,QC,4X,Cummins,Long Bed. Anybody knows anything about this?
I'm posting this question for a friend of mine.
