I switched to Redline MTL (no special mix) and my NV5600 shifts real smooth. Also, I added the transmission filter that Genos' sells to the PTO.
Seems to help trap metallic particles from the transmission.

Okay, Its time for shocks (probably overdue).
Not questioning which brand, I am sold on the quality of Bilstein
The question is, Which one? The silver or the yellow?
They are not that different in cost, that is not the issue.
I do about 10% mild to moderate offroad, mostly to get to a...
I cut a large hole in mine. Then I wrapped the wires tightly with grey pipe-wrap insulation foam (the stuff that's slit on one side) so that they fit snugly in the large hole I cut in the gromet, Cut the pipe wrap flush and sealed it with black RTV. Works good, and can be un-done as I add more...

Good fit and quality. Has mounts for 3 6" lights
Bought it from Cabela's for $299. Saw it on-line for $249 but I had lots of credits...
Same thing in Oregon. Can't find the diesel rated stuff right now. Mobile has changed labels, Used to be 5W-40 Truck and SUV. Now the Truck and SUV is 5W-30 and no longer CI-4 rated. According to Mobil website, the CI-4 rated is now called Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40. Can't find this stuff...
I have tried both PIAA (Xtreme White Plus) and Silverstar bulbs. Don't get me wrong, I like PIAA Products, but the Silverstars worked better for a little less $$$$. You are ultimately limited by the poor reflector design. I do a lot of night driving, in an area with large critters (ELK), and...
My steering box had to be replaced at 2k miles. Leaked at the steering shaft seal, only when under pressure. The dealer replaced it, no questions asked. Even had a couple replacement steering boxes in parts stock at the time. Made me believe they had seen the problem before.
Yes, Please submit a picture of your install GoCarGo. I really need some backup help. For the more conventional type light installs: Are you guy mounting these directly to the rear bumper or did you make some sort of mounting bracket? The rear bumper looks awkward to mount to and be level.

Has anyone added PIAA 1500 Backup lamps to their 3rd gen?
I am in desparate need of better back-up lighting especially when backing my boat at 0-dark-thirty. Have considered a rear bumper with lights like a Buckstop (heck they are just over the hill from me), not sure that is the way I want to...
Has anyone compared the performance of the stock Bilsteins to the custom valved rear shocks that Kore and Desert Racing Concepts sells? Obviously there is a fair amount of difference in the cost.
