    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) RPM drop going in lockup?

200-300 is about normal. Could be your transmission is slipping excessively when not locked up.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel primer leaking?

There is a 50¢ o-ring available from any auto parts that seals around the button. Just take the old one in and have them match it.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Warped Rotor ??

No advantage replacing the bearings if they're still good, it will save very little work. Dealer price on the rotors is way too high. I paid $48/ea for high quality Brembo rotors here- http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/index.jsp 175k on them without a problem. At this price it's never worth...

Don't miss the surfers on the North Shore big waves. Big surf should be there by now.

    Power Service fuel additive?

I try to avoid one size fits all type products myself. Besides $60 to treat 500 gallons is way on the high side.

    Why not Detroit Diesel ?

If I'm not mistaken Detroit, John Deere and Cat were all approached by Dodge for an engine before launching the diesel Ram. JD and Cat said they couldn't make it light enough to meet Dodge's specs. Not sure what happened with Detroit.

    Way to go President Bush!!!

Sorry Gene but I don't believe you at all, your excuse doesn't fly. Your comment was only intended as a personal attack against me and any other Vietnam vet who doesn't agree with you. Otherwise you would have just came out and said what you really meant rather than worm around it. It was...

    Way to go President Bush!!!

Come on out and tell me what you meant then Gene.

    Power Service fuel additive?

That's because you live in Florida where it doesn't get cold. My local Napa usually has just a couple of bottles until winter hits, then they have a pile of it five feet high. You've got remember most diesel owners, me included, only use additive in the winter for anti-gel properties.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Should I have expected more from PDR?

Mactruck was talking about a 24 valve. On a 12 the tube is located much further back on the driver's side, no bottle.

    Way to go President Bush!!!

You have to search for the reasons of why someone becomes a terrorist - and I'm not speaking about their leaders. It's not like they wake up one morning and say, "Hey it's a nice day to blow myself up along with scores of innocent people. " There is a process leading to that decision. Uncover...

    Way to go President Bush!!!

If that's the case then she just found the way to single-handedly win the war on terror. Bush would be wise to take a lesson from her.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cummins Engine Paint?

Anodized bronze spray paint intended for aluminum window frames it a perfect match for 12 valves, don't know about 24s. Available at most hardware stores.

Go to the bottom of the page you want to print, right under the lowest red bar click 'show printable version' You can even have all the thread's posts on one page and let your printer decide how it wants to divide them up.

    Why not Detroit Diesel ?

Another reason is that DC acquired Detroit long after they started putting the CTD in pickups. They continue to do so because they know the Cummins name sells more trucks than Dodge steering components.
