    Front end noise when wet.

    My KORE coil springs make that noise when it's wet too. No biggie. Insulators would quiet it down. I do not recall if the stockers did it.

    I read once in some auto rag to go to an empty parking lot, loosen the nuts several turns, and then perform several low speed figure 8's. Apparently it may break the wheel loose from the axle. Warning: Once loose retighten before you drive home... .....

    True. And there are some '07's with 5. 9's, with a build date of Aug. '06. I would have expected the smog tech's to be better educated by now. I can only hope they have better knowledge of smogging diesel's by the time I get my registration.

    Try pulling a sample between 700 and 1000 miles. See what you get then. Do you cut open your filter after each change to inspect?

    Sometimes the tape measure just isn't as good as a nice test drive... ..... So I was shocked when the dealer let me drive mine home to check something before I bought it. Maybe your dealer will let you?
