I could not justify another diesel with a dpf for my driving distance. So.....
I bought a 1500QC 2wd Hemi last week. Drive is nice, quiet, and with 390 ponies it should be fine for the ROC traffic. (If I remember there is no Jake Brake).

I read once in some auto rag to go to an empty parking lot, loosen the nuts several turns, and then perform several low speed figure 8's. Apparently it may break the wheel loose from the axle.
Warning: Once loose retighten before you drive home... .....
True. And there are some '07's with 5. 9's, with a build date of Aug. '06. I would have expected the smog tech's to be better educated by now. I can only hope they have better knowledge of smogging diesel's by the time I get my registration.
Sometimes the tape measure just isn't as good as a nice test drive... ..... So I was shocked when the dealer let me drive mine home to check something before I bought it. Maybe your dealer will let you?
Because of the "Hummin Cummins" and that fact that all I've done, not counting suspension mods, is tires front pads and regular LOF's. Oh yeah, and it's Ram Tough!
