I didnt mean it was a problem with the pump only a problem when trying to get max fuel with out running excessive timming. To get the max fuel out of the p bosch still using a 12mm plunger, the older plungers are better for that. there is machine work that can be done to the plunger...
The problem with the 215 pump is the plunger, unlike the older pumps the 215 has a retard notch in the plunger. If you make the rack travel too far the pump begans to retrard and you have to make up for it with timming. The good thing with the 215 pump is the driveshaft better than the pumps...
