posting this for a friend. he has 01 3500 automatic. the truck will blow the starter solenoid fuse every so often when cranking the truck. any ideas or history of this? thanks for any replys

I have learned that on my 02 3500 diesel 4x4 6speed that my rear gear ratio is a 3:55. pulling a 15,000# 5th wheel is a edge ez going to give me added towing help i need?

thanks for all the imput. I did replace the clutch with a small upgrade of hd con material. ( 6 speed). If I replace the lift pump with the raptor or fass do I retain the stock filter or what? and i'm not sure what guages I need or what the HY is. thanks for everything.

new to this, I have a 2002 3500 4wheel drive 1 ton 150,000 miles with straight pipe the only mod. I changed out the stock lift pump @ 80,000 miles. I need a little more power/torque pulling a fifth wheel toy hauler weighing total 15,000# I welcome any suggestions
