could do that but you would have to get shorter bolts, change intercooler pipeng and it may interfear with the #1 injector line. not sure though. it's just as easy to gut it and stick it back in. it also straightens the path of air so it isn's so turbulent going into the intake manifold.
yeh i was starting to think that my right foot was wearing them  truck isn't quite stock anymore :-laf too bad their one of the best pulling tire for around here. i think next are going to be BFG all trains. their pretty good on the track and am sure to get more milage out of them!!
the stack i got going can get pretty wild. i would recommend the TNT-R and TST PowermaxCR over and over again. it's quite a bit of money but enough tuning can be had for well over 700HP :) i love the MP8 but if you dont watch you can destroy injectors. it adds tons of pressure really fast with...
truck is in sig and i am having problems of what pressure to run. the backs are wearing really fast and only have 1000 miles on them. what are you all running on the street with your tires??
it all depends on your future plans for the truck. you have to think where you want your truck to be in years to come to make the decision. if your COMPLETELY happy with what you have now i would say that the 3400 OFe that Motorhead stated would suit you just fine. if you enjoy the added...
engines can take the heat without much problem. mine does at least. the thing that cant are seals and such. just keep an eye out for any leaks or contanimation of oil/fuel/coolant.
humm. i'll bump this up for ya. i gotta sleep a little on this one. first i would try is to find someone that has a smarty and load up the stock software and see if it runs. i had a buddy with a bully dog and his truck wouldnt start after head studs. loaded up my smarty to clean out the ECM and...
check your oil for overfill levels indicating diesel in there. white smoke, loaping are also symptoms of lost injectors. that happened to me when i exploded a couple of my hellfires. then again i had 4 supposedly cracked bodies on my stockers and truck ran great. had no bad injector symptoms at...
oil level is good. thats why i dont think it is a cracked body. . TWest. what is the TQ supposed to be on them. I never used a TQ wrench when i put them back in so very well could be too tight. Assuming you need a special torq wrench to do this?? Smarty on #8 with no added timing. i use only the...
well said. pressure will destroy injector bodies. i know this from experience and their not cheap. other than that you should get many problem free miles outa her. the more you bomb, the more you pay. thats the guaranteed rule of thumb :-)
