    I had the same problem when I got my '01 3500 4x4. I put the springs on top and hated it. The trailer (32')was level and cleared the truck, but looked silly. I talked to the manufacturer (Crossroads) and they suggested something they called "Jake Plates" . They are plates welded to the frame...

    Strange Sound????

    I get the same noise, not always associated with shifting: boost always high (18-20), climbing under load. Sounds like tires over concrete cracks spaced very close together, like 3 or 4 per second. Stops when I back off. Could this be wastegate related? Leo
