The other night after I cranked my 2006 2500 5.9 the lights blinked after that the voltage started dropping. It's like I have a dead short but I checked everything out and couldn't find anything. I put a new alternator on it this morning but it is still doing the same thing. Had anyone have any...

Thanks for all the information, I just got through checking out the battery connections, one of the batteries was bad I replaced it but it still does the same thing. Tomorrow afternoon I'll start checking out all the connections elsewhere besides just the batteries.

Ok, I ran the codes and it read P2509 any ideas on what this might be.

I tried reading the codes with my superchip programmer but all it would say is, can not detect ignition on.

I went out the other morning and cranked my 06 5.9 to let it warm up as always went back inside and a few minutes later I heard it go dead. No when I turn the key to the on position the engine light on the dash flashes and I can hear a ticking noise at the injection pump. Anyone have an idea...
