The seals that I got out of the Bosch reseal kit looked cut in an x shape for a lack of a better term. The orings I removed were round refering to the cross section. The piston in the bottom pushed on the seal and cut it. It may have been an oring from another company.

I just resealed the pump and I noticed there are a lot of little adjustments that could be made. The most important being the governor shaft that is blocked from adjustments once it is installed on the engine. The rest I can figure out later but I cant install this until I adjust the governor...

I will check into the ksb wiring Thanks. The truck idles great on cold start and it is not hard to start, and in matter of fact it starts too easy in my opinion for 200,000 but I am used to seeing diesels in Mercedes and VW's.

I have a 92 that seems to smoke excessivly cold. Goosing it in neutral it sputters and smokes the worst. Accelerating through mid rpm range will do the same. I can short shift it to keep it from smoking. Once it warms up the smoking goes away. This is my first ctd so I do not know much about it...
