Pardon for the late arrival but, do the 1AAuto mirrors stick out 2 feet like some of the other aftermarket ones? My passenger side electrically died recently(no adjusting) and I thought I'd upgrade to 4th gen style. Hope you guys are still "watching" this thread, thanks.

Went to Lowe's the other day and got about 1400 pounds of mortar and sand in the back of my 97 2500 long bed diesel 2WD, it rode much better, especially over speed bumps. The rear only sagged maybe an inch. Are these springs stock or did the previous owner add some helpers, they are 3 inches...

I've counted 3(so far) of 5/8" heater hose connections, 1 up front on head, 1 under alternator and 1 by oil filter...any more? Also can these all be made by the one that Geno's has listed? I've noticed that the one by the oil filter has a slice in it, I'm surprised it's not leaking....yet...

I'm not up on oil sample #'s but it would be nice to know the quality of filtration on top of the quantity, if you know what I mean. Agreed, not a huge fan of K&N, they were pretty much 1st on the market with "performance" filtration, but have seen a few "studies" where they weren't the best.

Any opinions on the S & B ?

Just noticed my stock airbox doesn't seal worth a crap, it's warped and doesn't close on the forward side at all. I could get some "fasteners" of some type I guess, to pull it together or replace it with ? I like the looks and specs of the S & B but have read a few posts of some guys going...

I asked the tech's at Edge, what all would be needed on top of the "base" Insight. After choking on my coffee at the $943 :eek: price tag(with Insight), I decided I'll be doing an A-pillar system.

I believe the classified ad item is sold, or there is another one somewhere. Thanks for the input guys, I'm leaning towards some A-pillar gauges but thought if the Edge device was "the bomb", it may have been the way to go.

I see there are some aftermarket "performance" ones available, so I'd probably go that route, if and when.

Thanks for the info , Bob4x4 , guess I should wait until a new manifold rises to the top of the wish-list, which may take some time as the list seems to grow every time I spend an hour or so on this site. :D
