I have been considering selling my 98 12v QC 4x4 with NV5600 and 241 DHD transfer case. It has 192xxx on it and good condition. Its hard to figure what is a fair price for it cause not too many around. Any ideas? Thanks.

    apps cable

Original engine had 123,00. It dropped exhaust valve on #6 and busted the head, busted the cylinder, piston and injector. Not pretty!

I am putting a brand new crate motor from cummins in an 03 dodge. This motor has a build date of 12/09/2002. It is and isb 250hp. The previous motor was a isb 305hp. The apps sensor is under the battery box on the truck, The new crate motor has it mounted on the motor. My dodge dealer can only...

    no start and high oil

A bad injector crossed my mind until I found I have just a little dribble out of the cp3 high pressure line. I should still have some rail pressure with a bad injector right?

    no start and high oil

I am helping a guy passing though town with an 03 dodge. He said he was driving normal and the truck started running rough and blew out some white smoke and just quit. It did start back up but was noisy and then died and it will not start. I am fairly new to hpcr setup but have decent experience...

    grid heater problems...AGAIN

I have two Napa ( Exide ) batteries hooked up parallel in mine, mainly for the winch. I believe they are 1125 a piece. It was -29 here in montana last Sunday and I cycled the heaters twice and still had decent juice to start. I had it plugged in also.

    Leaf Springs

An option is the Kelderman air ride. Not the cheapest for sure but will give you eveything you are looking for. Geat suspension travel because the rear shackles are no longer hooked to the frame. I have had these for 140000 and not a problem. It is real nice with loads beacase it will maintain...

Help...truck dies after driving a few miles

Are there any rubber hoses in your conversion that could be collapsing under the suction from the pump? Are the fuel lines adaquate for the cummins? Maybe tank vent or caps not venting for suction of the lift pump? What does the engine filter/water separator have in it?

    No Start troubleshooting help

There is a fusable link. It is right ahead of the grid solenoids. One big wire going in 2 small wires coming out. But always start with the obvious first. Assuming the battery is good, go with the following. Check connections at bat, also at starter. There is a plug-in at the pos terminal that...

    Power Steering Quit!

Do ya still have good brakes? If not dont drive it. Mine did the same and the shaft that is on the front of the power steering pump broke and ruined the timing cover and case. Sent the stub and gear right on out. Had to replace injector pump gear and cam gear. A little spendy.

    overdrive in and out(headache)

This isnt good. I have no crank sensor! It is not in my manual either. I can find it on the 92 but not the 91. Uh OH. There is no wires at all going to the crank. I traced the tps and it just goes right into the harness by the fuel filter no other wires. Now what. Leave it to me to have the...

    overdrive in and out(headache)

Well, I double checked and it does not have a crank sensor. I was thinking they did not start that until 92 but I could very well be wrong.

    radiator and heating question

Interesting..... The funny thing is it will do it overdrive , drive or second. If I hold the boost at 12 to 14 pisi it will sta y about 3/4 way up the temp gauge no matter what gear. The torque converter is a high perf/ heavy duty made by Automatic Transmission Systems and works really well. The...
