my lift pump had taken a major failure. It blew the seals and oil from the crank was being pushed into the fuel system throught the lp. I put a new lift pump on and im beting there was oil still in the lines and when i took it out (in attemp to blow it up) i ran al the oil out of it and at 5k...

15k miles later and two 12hr trips the truck is still dynoing at 485hp

yeah that was my truck. I put a new lift pump in the truck and it didnt go away. then i took the truck out and reved it up to 5k rpm and it went away. I was getting oil in the fuel and im betting that it was jut making it a ping in the ignition of the fuel.

i tow a 4-wheeler mabe once or twice a year, a boat a lot, and only once in a blue moon a hook to 15k pounds or more... . cant say i tow very often at all...

ordered a valair ceramic 600hp clutch... . 1100lb-ft ..... they said it will be reall grabby with the 3800lb pressure plate, but is great or daily driving and some street performance... . anyone have any ideas on how these react in the trucks, hauled 15k with the stocker and all...

Heeeelllllp here is what i did. -ran the valves, some were out of adjustment -checked plunger travel > looked ok to me besides the oil -Cranked with dvs installed no lines -Let the truck idle. Cracked each line asll made truck have a dramatic change. -Note: Truck idles perfectly smooth...

ivcew got a spare injection pump, and lift pump, gonnas try and swapp both. Do one at a time. if one fixes before the other then i know i can stop, or hasve my injection pump rebuilt.

Will the drive shaft work from my truck still? I am going to use the dana 80 out of my donor truck. some have said it will fit others say itll be about an inch and a half short. thanks, John
