That video sounds EXACTLY like my truck. I was told by a local mechanic that I had probably damaged a piston. Can you explain what you mean by getting oil in the fuel? And what did revving it to 5K do? Blow the motor?

my lift pump had taken a major failure. It blew the seals and oil from the crank was being pushed into the fuel system throught the lp. I put a new lift pump on and im beting there was oil still in the lines and when i took it out (in attemp to blow it up) i ran al the oil out of it and at 5k rpm i "recut" the rings as if you were breaking in a new engine.

After i id this i had better compression, better response and um oh yeah lower blowby issues. So in short i think the new lift pump fixed and caused these results, but also the compression being greater is a result of the rpms.

Oil in the fuel was found because my diesel fuel was as thick and as black as engine oil
