    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cold start trouble.

    Thanks for reply. Happened awhile ago in Michigan. Almost always plugged in. Not This time though. Will try warm up and see if it goes away. (2nd) 2001 (Totaled the first one at 100K ) 205K on this one. Great truck.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cold start trouble.

    Started in 20 degrees using wait to start. Shut off and restarted within 30 seconds w/o waiting for heater. Ran rough for a few seconds and now has a constant mechanical "tunking" sound. What did I mess up.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP 44 Gone Again

    2nd VP 44 gone at 192,000 miles. All codes and symptoms of the 1st. Anyone know a good shop to replace pump as I don't think I want to tackle it . West Central Michigan area. Thanks.

    TAG (Turbo Air Guide) How do you like it ?

    Tag II Installed Tag II on '01 A/T past fall. Hard to judge actual performance until summer but definite change in sound and seems to run smoother at launch. Good Luck :)
