I have the dead pedal syndrome. . I was told 2 re-route a wire that runs from my tps 2 the alternator. . I think that was it. . I can get ahold of the guy who told me nor fine a thread on it... Maybe I'm not looking hard enough... Any help will be appreicated!!

I went 2 go home tonight in my 99 and the headlights would not come on...
The running lights were though. I check all the fuses. . Pulled the high beam switch and they came on only when I had it pulled. . I couldn't tell if the high beams were on but it did not look it, and as I drove home...
Okay guy’s your going 2 get a mouthful…I have a 98. 5 2500 SLT 4x4 auto w/ no mod’s. . I bought it right before Christmas w/149000 miles and now have 156000 that includes driving it across country…I have replaced 2 lift pumps and the vp44… The “L” pipe that connects the rubber boot 2 the turbo...
Talk with a cat @ DTT said just swap valve bodies. . I'll have 2 get back 2 the tps deal... I do want 2 know more on on the aftercooler deal... But let me look @ it first still F-n raining here and I work on da ground in da open... .

Mahalo guys for the tips !!! I didn't think about the valve body , makes sense ,but R you 100% sure ??? I also have not had time 2 check out the aftercooler hose , due 2 all the F-n rain we are getting , it seems I should trade my truck in 4 an ark..... I will try 2 research the dead pedal thing...
Alright... ???'s I got a 98. 5 24v and just got a trans out of a 99 V10 w/75000 miles and little towing , I was told the trans will bolt up fine , but 2 swap converters... If this is true than I should put a new one in... what and where are some of the converters you guys would suggest... I want...
Mahalo for the info guy's!!! So the bells will match up and it should bolt in... And just swap VB's..... How about the torque converts???Will the V10 match up with the Cummings specs??????
Does anyone know if a Trans. From a 2000 V10 2500 bolt up to my 98. 5 Cummings???Have a friend that will give me one with 40,000 miles on it , but I have to travel to get it and he can’t find the trans tag …. So if anyone know and can save me a wasted trip that would be great!!!
Thanks again for your input guys!!! I am still super busy with my jobs (holidays) and now the Mercedes Championship…Next week it will slow down and I will have some free time. . I will try all those things and let all of you know the results…I sure would hate to call someone to fix this thing...

Hopefully I can work on it tomorrow, been working a lot…Let me clarifiy: the motor turns but she won’t fire…. I have had all the injector lines open and turn it LOTS of times. I’ll try the electrical connections again though…. I don’t think the new pump is bad...
