A little more information:
the sensor seems to return to working order intermittently for a few miles or more or less, then returns to dashed lines on the EVIC. The warning lamp also goes away while the sensor is working.

One wheel has ceased to report to the EVIC. do these have replaceable batteries or do I have to replace the complete sensor. I am guessing that they are in the valve stem inside the rim?
