    Dash Map Light Bracket

Seeking the TSB modified dash map light bracket. I just found my dash light 2 weeks ago languishing behind the bezel. I've modded up a pair of brackets for now which are perfectly functional but would like to find the real thing. Date: Nov. 4, 1991 Models: 1990-1992 (AD) RAM...

    Dash Information Center

Here's the PVC and one of the pieces cut to illustrate the cut. MOVVE FAST if you use any sort of quick setting glue/adhesive. (3M) LORD Fusor is a great plastic welder but expensive and in this case would have been messy.

    Dash Information Center

I had my bezel out to work on the map light. Looked at all the options and decided that the simplest easy repair involved some mending plates from Lowes and speed nuts. Easy fab and now the thing is back where it belongs. It's not sexy at all but you get the gist. If I had done two bends...

    Tailgate Latches

And, last but not least! Repaired the latching mechanism clips and have both side working like a charm. One video I watched from "Decent Garage" helped and the rest I figured out on my own. To be honest, it's pretty relaxing work. Tedious at times but not hard.

    Tailgate Latches

Not sure who I bought this from but it had an issue locking up. Turned out to be the two opposing parts couldn't "catch" as one was a little bit off on the alignment of the tip. Used a Dremel tool and burr to clean up the end removing very little material to get it to engage. Back on the...

Running Board Light Boxes for Running Lights

My '92 D-250 came out of Texas originally equipped with "Continental Accessories" running boards. These were equipped with orange "light boxes" with 3 opaque windows on the outboard side which allowed light to shine through slots in the boards. Probably "hi-tech" in 1992 but after 31 years...

    Cleaning Seat Belts

The seatbelts in my '92 D250 are in good working order but the former owner must have ended up wearing as much coffee and soda as he drank. I've seen the pressure washer videos but until a friend who is a professional wrap and auto detailer of high end cars told me to try it I was leery. I...

Why the Window Sweeps Don't Stay In Place

Oven's Garage mentioned this in his video of window sweep replacement. Apparently there is only one supplier for everyone and what they are using for attachments are inferior. I kept my old ones and pirated the clips from them which requires some care as they will break at the attachment legs...

    Beltline Window Sweeps

They do have the correct sound pad clips. https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Hood-Insulation-Fender-Shield-Retainer-Chrysler-p/a17004.htm I got mine from Clip House: https://cliphouse.com/cp866015.aspx Thanks! I'm trying. Rust Free '92 150K originally out of TX. (Surface on hood doesn't...

    Tailgate actuating rods

I did find an NOS rod. Now that I know what I'm dealing regarding measurements it will be relatively easy to knock these out. Keeping the original with part number and using it for the model.

    Beltline Window Sweeps

Took the clip from the outside edge of my old sweep and transferred it to the new one. Only way to keep it down. The new ones DO NOT HAVE THE TEETH on the center part to grab the metal. Same manufacturer apparently makes these for everyone. If there are better ones to be had I'd like to know.

    Bag It!

Thanks. I bought 3 of the LF16035's in an early order.

    Bag It!

I've done more oil changes than I'd like to remember on many types of cars including those with dry sump systems. My '92 1st Generation D250 is the very first Dodge save for a slant 6 Valiant a friend had in high school where I was a spectator. The oil filter isn't coming out of the bottom but...
