Each torque converter can have its strong points depending what it is used for. I called Dave at Goerends and discussed my driving habits and needs THEN he built what I needed. I like the idea of a custom setup converter made for my needs instead of something pulled off the shelve.

My 06 Goering converter and VB installed at 8000 will shift a little eratic at real light throttle between 2-3 we installed different springs which helped but its not perfect. But the trans is sooooo much better than stock I can live with it.

The new Cummins is supposed to have a higher pressure and volumne CP3 than our 5. 9 does anyone know specs or possible conversion?

Genos has the Bilstien's, are they comparable to 5100's? I believe the #'s are 66-- series, any info appreciated. I dont off road much so maybe the Bilstiens will be more my style.

I'am planning on replacing my shocks on my 06 dually and trying to decide which shocks are best for confort ride. The truck is stock hieght and is used 95% of the time for hauling 11k gooseneck. Any thoughts or opinions?

I usually haul a 11k gooseneck and average 11. 5, on freeway about 13. 5, without trailer 18 to 21. I did make one 150 mile trip and got 26. 5 I got 715 miles on that one tank of fuel. I wish that could happen all the time, but I've been very pleased with the BDDL. What also seemed to help the...

I have been running my BDDL for about 5 months on my 06 and have had no codes.

So far I really like the Goering tripple disk torque converter, it also has life time warranty. One thing I noticed it the torque converter makes the truck a little slower off the line because its not slipping as much so it takes a few seconds more to get the engine RPM's up. I tow a 11000 lb...

Richard Brown also called "Reb" did my trans in a day and is very good about setting appointments. If you ask really nice maybe he will let you borrow his 873 horsepower ranch work truck!

At about the same mileage my 06 started acting up also. The torque converter wouldn't lock up. The local dealer coundn't find anything wrong even with a P1740 code. I said goodbye to warranty and the cruddy dealer mechanic and had a Goering converter and valve body put in so I won't be worrying...
