directly to diesel. It is a mechanical gauge... . when i bought the kit... cant remember who i got it through now... . there was not one.
what does the isolator do... i assume keep the fuel out??
Have a Isspro gauge on my 2001. I have PowerbyPoole's fuel line kit that have the NPT fitting post filter for the gauge. I have a rubber line from there to gauge. It has been working fine for for the past year. The gauge started bouncing yesterday. At Idle it drops down to 7-9 PSI... i...
Noticed on the last trip that my fuel pressure guage was going from 15psi at idle to 10psi at idle and back. Never got below 7-8 at WOT but i dont like the bouncing pressure. I just put a new lift pump on (stock location) less than 5K miles ago. I have also installed www.powerbypoole.com Big...
Well that makes me full a little better. I was under the impression that the clutch could handle very little HP gains. I am not expecting to reach the 400+ hp range anytime soon... . so maybe it will last a while. Truck has 85K on it... and i have to assume it is the stock clutch.
Seth
Looking at doing some HP mods... . but wondering what the stock clutch can handle. I know that i need to upgrade the to the southbend con-fe for towing... but i am trying to upgrade in stages... So... where is the line.
2001 HO 6peed, building to towing 11-13K
Thanks,
Seth
I like the idea of the comp for the adjustments... . but part of me is scared that i am going to kill the VP44. I just replaced the LP about 3K miles ago (thank you FP guage) i think i got to it before the pump was damaged. But i guess time will tell.
I guess my other problem is i am finding...
Sorry, top link didnt work right... . anyways, Hoesli want over a $100 more than this other guy. Unless these are old prices. Here is a link that should work.

Found this...

Is that all i will need to install the brake, or do i still need some type of aftermarket switch to mount on the shifter? Not sure what all comes with the kit. I noticed that with some of the kits...
Thanks for all the ideas so far. I have to be honest though... . i am new to this... so i cam kinda confussed on all the different injector sizes and brands. I obviouly need to do a little more research on them.
Thanks again,
Seth
I have been searching for days reading different opinions... figure it might be best if i just ask.
Truck- 2001. 5 3500 HO 6-speed (2wd). I tow 11K-12K fairly regular. I already have the guages (fuel, turbo, EGT). I also have Rips 4" exhaust and his adjustable boost elbow. i am also running...
So i am stupid..... i just looked under the FAQ and found a part number...
Cummings/Fleetguard 3990105
I assume this is not the "Dodge" part nuber since i read somewhere that it was the same pump... . just with a mopar sticker on the box.
Seth
According to my guage... . looks as if the lift pump is about to go. The psi started to bounce between 3-5 going down the interstate. Just looking for a part number for the latest updated pump i read about. Hopefully i caught this before anything else got damaged. I havent done any of the actual...
Thats kinda what i was thinking... . just wanted to see if anyone was mounting them outside with luck. I will probably mount it in the cab for that since of security.
Seth
I am working on mounting my new Isspro guages and have one quick question. Is everyone mounting the amplifer box inside the cab our outside in the engine compartment. I assume it would be better to mount it inside... . keep it out of weather...
Thanks
Seth
