tried it today again. . havent got my gauges it acts like to low pressure in 3 and reverse. . didnt put it back together my self so i cant tell but it should have been done right. . atsg book as a guide all the time

took my truck to a shop but i need to wate until 3 next month to get some help with it... really works good in 1 and 2 no slipping 2200-2400rpm i need to back of and let it drop to 1800rpm or lower and it gets into 3 after a while around 50mph at 2200 rpm tq locks in 3 and drops 200rpm? so...

sounds like alot of crap... if it where possible to get almost double of mpg why would not dodge engineers think of that?

but can my smarty read codes from transmission? i have no factory service manual. . tried to download from a link but didnt find anything that worked

okay, i will try a scanner. . and go to a dealer. did read that my smarty only finds engine codes. . AnY good writeup on pressure testing?

havent done anything yet. . or i have checked the oil... looks good so far. . if this was a old transmission i would blame tv cable. . read somwhere i can reset the motor doing the tv cable job? a shop/friend helped me so i cant blame someone... it now performs better tried driving it abit today and...

more info this is about a 48re on a truck from 2005. it has no tv cable. NO CODES shift pretty good from 1-2 but abit rough and hard tricky to get into 3 and will not hold in 3 good it wants to shift down pretty fast no overdrive if i get to about 60mph and let off the throttle...
