Just to fill you all in. We have been moving to the new facility this week. The shop is up and running. The office will be up and running next week. We had temporary phone interruption due to Verizon preparing to change over addresses.
If you can not reach us leave a message. Thanks for your...
End of group buy
The Buckstop group buy will be closed at the end of Friday 3/4/05. So far the discount is at 14%. A couple of more people will move it up to 18% and possibly all the way to 20%.
The phone system has not been moved to the new facility. Unfortunately, you will might get a...
Greetings from Buckstop:
Just to give you a little background, Buckstop has been doubling sales every year which is tremendous growth in a manufacturing company. We are currently building a new facility which will facilitate triple current production level. Construction completion was set for...

Have your buddy sit on the front bumper and measure the drop with him on it. The right buddy will weigh about the same as the bumper (230 lb). If you truck is like everyone elses it will sag between an eigth and a quarter inch.
The other thing you can do is take the same buddy and set him on...
Air bags will help with stability and squat. The real issue is usually breaking ability. That is why the rating is on the vehicle. I don't know what is available to us out there for added braking (besides a Jake). I have also heard of police (here in Oregon) starting to crack down on overloaded...
Safety is the most important thing but what really scares me is the liability the family of the 72 Toyota driver has against you. Pulling overloaded is just crying for a lawsuit after a wreck. I have read posts on another site about a guy who wrecked towing an RV and killed the other driver. He...
That truck is a convert. It's owned by a good friend of mine. It started out as a 93 extended cab CTD. He took the cab off an 85, stretched his frame 16" and that was that. Apparently the cab fits no problem, there were however mods to the fire wall.
My 02 HO has always shifted poorly. I made a post about a year ago calles "stiff shifting 6 speed" and the discussion went off into clutches and the bushing that is used on the HO set-up. Apparently there was a part number change and the newer bushings were a little tight - therby not letting...
The truck looks great! Perhaps it's the fuzziness of the picture that's keeping it from getting the high marks. How about trying a high resolution version of the new (and improved) look!
BIGHAMMER, It's a touchy situation between the offset and the wheel widht. The part that rubs is the outside of the wheel that is on the side of the turn (turn hard right and the OUTSIDE of the right tire will rub) The offset on a stock wheel is 4" and the offset on a standard aftermarket whell...
I have 315's on my 2nd gen and they just fit with the 2" leveling lift. I have 9" wide aftermarket wheels. The stock wheels might buy you a little space but I think it would be tight.
You can get the 2" lift springs for about $145. If you catch 4 wheel parts wholesalers on a sale they throw...
I am running 315's on 9" wheels with the 2 - 2. 5" kit and there is just barely enough room in the wheel well. I think f I had 10" wheels I wouldn't make it.
If you want to run the 10's I would definately consider the 3" kit. I saw this kit on a 3rd Gen a few weeks ago but didn't look too...
I just had my Burco PN 3901 installed yesterday and it is, indeed the correct part. Drivers side, convex mirror. $25 for the mirror and $25 for them to come to the house for the install.
Much better than the $245 from the Dealer!
