I only changed one because I am about broke as it is and that was the only one bad. I dont think another one went it was running good, better than ever really, and all the exhaust ports were running about the same temperature. I'll check though.
Just replaced an injector in my 05 and now when you shut it off it coughs or diesels? like it dont want to stop. Cant figure what would be doing it and not sure I should drive it and being my only vehicle I kinda stuck. Any suggestions? thanks
This doesnt really help you but I have an 05 with 75000 miles doing same thing, white smoke and rough idle on startup for several minutes. Dealer says its normal that its not run hard enough and has carbon builup. what a bunch of B. S!!! I am fairly positive at least one injector is leaking off...
What is this power steering method you talk about? I just got an 05 with 66k on it. The right u joint was out and I know what you all mean about beating on it for 4 hours. I am afraid its gonna need ball joints to get past inspection.
Dont run it on my truck but on my pulling tractor. Drastically lowers egts. some horsepower gains know idea how much? Effect would be same on our trucks
Yes that is true. It is probably not the solenoid itself that is bad. It is probably the fusible link coming off the driver side battery or there is a relay to the left of the brake booster that could be bad. There will be 2 relays there together it is the larger one.
How much are you towing? Thats about the mileage I get grossing 26000, maybe a little better. My truck likes the 1800-2000 rpm range also, go much more and mileage drops off.
