More on the Emission Puzzle in California...

Unfortunately, other states are following California's lead.

Banana was always my favorite. I'll still get one now and then when I find 'em. Here's a link to the history of the Moon Pie. :) https://moonpie.com/about

Where Were You On 9-11: Not Political

My wife and I owned a small grocery store in a small community at the time. She was at a friends house who was dying from cancer. I was literally 'minding the store'. I can tell you that every single customer that came into the store that day and for days to come, wanted a piece of the SOB's...

    Dome lights work, switches don’t.

Wow. I've had 'em go out on my '14, but never that.

    RPM at 70 mph. 21 Ram DRW 68RFE 3:73

What NIsaacs said for RPM. I'm getting a tad over 20mpg. 10.5mpg towing a fifth wheel at 70 mph.

Needing new brake pads. I want OEM or Better.

I never had a problem with them. Never felt any fading when coming to a long stop or going downhill towing our 5r. I had about 40K miles on them before I traded the truck for a '21. I also use the EB towing or not. Remember, I replaced everything. Things might be different if you just...

Needing new brake pads. I want OEM or Better.

I installed Power Stop Z36 rotors, calipers and pads in my '14 because of towing and what I read about them. https://www.powerstop.com/product/power-stop-z36-brake-kit-calipers/

    Oil change

Changed the oil every 15,000 on my '14 using 5W40 Amsoil. Changed the 3 filters at the same time. Plan on doing the same with the '21.

This one is for you, Jim W....repowering a CAT D9L

That was a great article! I used to work for Cat as a machinist until the mid '90s. Most of my career there was spent finish grinding the bearings, both main and rod. During part of my time there, I made the cranks for the 3400 series engines. The 3406 (6 cylinder) had a traditional crank...

    Air ride seats?

You didn't state what you're towing but keep in mind the payload. 2500 vs 3500. My 5r has a tongue weight of around 2500 loaded. I wouldn't do that with a 2500 as it would be near the limit. I run 60psi all around when not towing.

    Johnny Crawford

We didn't know either. We finished watching all the episodes of Rifleman just a couple of months ago. I didn't know he was sick until I started doing some searches on the actors a while watching the episodes.

    Dealer first oil change

Been using 5w-40 syn since about the second oil change. Change every 15K. I've got almost 165K on the clock and just ordered the oil and filters for the next change.

    2020 oil filter change

I go thru the side. I don't take the wheel off, just turn it all the way to the right. I use a cap similar to what bcbender uses. If you don't take the air cleaner assemble out and go from the top, you HAVE to turn the filter sideways to get it out. A lot of this process is with 1 hand...

    EB stuck on

There's a lot of people on this site that can diagnose better than I. Sorry that didn't work. :(
