These work in an open diff, not sure if they have for the D80.
Took some getting used to (not much) clicking when not powering into sharp turns, you could hear it windows down, tires chirping when powering into sharp turns at slow speeds. Only other thing, I used to have wide tires 305/70/16 tread would show signs of wear on the outter edge due to being locked. I like it, its served well so far.
I was not able to get a reply from Richmond re: how much the units could handle I went for it anyway, w/525 HP and 1000 TQ rear wheel I didn't want to chance blowing it up. I'm not what you'd call easy on things and its held up well.
