Electrical After tank pump Why can't a booster pump be used to pressurize the inlet of the lift pump with fuel, to make sure it doesn't have to do all of the work? Can one be installed right after the fuel tank? Would this thrash the lift pump? Mike

My Ford had a really bad transmission... . E40D! It had 66 K and it was already due for it's second rebuild. They have upgraded them pretty good over the years, but it is still the weakest point of the truck, and that is on a truck with lots of weak points including 8 MPG!
