    Anyone know what this code is just started up my truck and check eng. light was on. Checked the oil it was a quart low ( unusual ) added oil and did the key trick and came up with code 111 my book shows the 1st code as 112?

    Thanks for the heads up on the compressor so far so good, your the first I have heard of. Hope it's all good now. Was your brake before the air tank was included? Mine has a quick connect on it for an air hose so it would be easy to tell what was bad.

    I should be picking my truck up today. The Dealer called at 4:30 yesterday and said that the parts got in late and it should be ready sometime today. I have a lot of questions for them, Most of all, What kind of problems if any are to come. And what did they have to do to fix it. I'll let you know.

    Alan Reagan You are the winner they took my transmission apart today called me and told me it was missing apart. I asked is it was a thrust washer? All he could do was ask me how I knew. I should have my truck back tomorrow YEA! Thanks Knute

    I was told that if I was to drive it with the OD cut out it would not be doing what it is doing. I know when I drive in tow haul it does it at a hight speed. I'll know more on Monday I want to be a believer (48RE) just glad I didn't have my exhuast brake in yet no excuses if you know what I mean.

    Took My truck in to the dealer to find out what the clunk was when it shifted into low gear, called them yesterday afternoon the dealer was consulting with DC on the problem. Seems in the early 90's (46RE) there was a problem with the overdrive when it would kick out 18mph or so it would thump...
