Do ya still have good brakes? If not dont drive it. Mine did the same and the shaft that is on the front of the power steering pump broke and ruined the timing cover and case. Sent the stub and gear right on out. Had to replace injector pump gear and cam gear. A little spendy.

The thermostat was from Dodge. Maybe I'll try a Cummins. When I changed from the first one it did'nt seem to make much difference. Its clean between the two ( radiator and intercooler. ) Hopefully another t-stat will cure it. Thanks
