    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) colored gauge faces (tach,speedo,etc)

I purchased a set of white face gauge covers for my 97 from Nu-Image. Fairly easy to install and look great. Call them for a part number.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Who's got the lowest mileage 12 valve?

How about 48,154 miles on my 1997. Original owner, specifically ordered from dealer, garage kept and covered, only used for pulling a camper and some hot rodding. Never seen snow and only rain a few times. Show room condition.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Top Speed

Thanks Kyle B I'll have to get the truck out this weekend and see what kind of RPM I'm pushing when she's topped out. Governor springs might be next on the list.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Top Speed

Still running the stock 245/75R16 tires. It pulls real hard until it gets to 96 mph and it's like the fuel shuts down to slow it down. I know most production cars have a computer that limits top speed, is there something in the ECM that might limit speed on these trucks?

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Top Speed

Looking for more top speed. With my #12 plate all the way foreword I can get to 96 mph fairly quick before she cuts out. What controls the top speed and can it be bypassed or adjusted????

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Muffler Direction

Has anyone played with Rips muffler direction and noticed any difference? Looking inside the muffler, louvers facing forward to catch air or turned around so air flows easily through. Any difference???

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Antifreeze leak

I have a slow drip coming from the radiator petcock. Does anyone know if you can take the petcock completely out, and is there a o-ring or something to replace? Thanks

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Excessive grid heater cycling?

My heaters have been cycling even when the air temp is 50 to 60 degrees. I'v been trying to come up with a way to put a manual switch in to turn them off if I feel it is warm enough. Any suggestions?

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) More On Exhaust

I'm looking for a 4 inch complete exhaust system. I see a lot of recommendations for Rip Rooks system. http://www.protintnw.com/sa_dodge-exh.htm Is there a difference between Rip Rooks and Diamond Eye or is it the same company? Any other good systems? Thanks

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) oil leak

Something else to think about, when I purchased my 97 brand new it had what appeared to be a rear main oil leak. Turned out to be a cam plug oil leak.

    Squeaky Rear Springs

    Squeaky Rear Springs

When I have a load on my 97 2500 I'm getting all kinds of squeaking from around the rear springs. Researching previous posts show there was a service bulletin for this, but I can't get to the link. Does any know what the repair might be or have any ideas. Thanks
