wouldnt the chain in the tcase only slip in 4 wheel drive? i still lean towards the clutch and flywheel. how much difference is there in the slip if you are really gassing on it versus lightly taking off? if you have done everything else 2-3 times i would look into clutch and flywheel. it could...
yep everything has been tested and checked and on the 3 valve bodys he has had trouble with the valves and cylinders are scored and galled kinda like bd is just not looking at them and sending them out?
Ok heres the long and short i have a 96 dodge 2500 with a cummins. i had the auto transmission done by a highly recommended shop. my diesel shop recommended a bd torque converter and bd valve body and this transmission shop. so after about 5000 miles it started taking off in second.

well if you put the bolt down thru getting a socket on it in the future isnt really that big a deal just torch it off and push the remainder of the bolt up into the frame,
even if that battery was bad the light would still light as there are huge battery cables tying them together i would say that either the positive cable is bad or the ground cable on that battery is bad.
take a set of booster cables and just connect the 2 positive terminals together and see if...
