    Stereo radio upgrade

I upgraded my premium system in my 06 3500 to an alpine IVA unit that has the GPS, bluetooth, XM and aux device connections that works great. My stock gps sytem went defunct to prompt the change. I've been pretty happy with it overall.

    rear electric slider cable broke....

let me know how that turns out. mine hasn't broken but it does slide about 1/2" past the stop point. I have to rely on my rear view mirror to make sure it is closed and not leaving a gap open. I will eventually look into fixing it but hasn't bothered me to that point yet.

    Seats:

I think the stock seats are pretty comfortable myself. mine haven't started wearing to the point of replacement just yet but I would like to upgrade to the longhorn editions in my 06 mega cab when the time comes.

3" vs 6" is bigger really better?

bottom line is if you go with a 6" long arm/radius kit from kore/carli/thuren you will be way better off in the long run than some of the other brands. Those 3 typically are building performance lifts for use offroad and baja applications. They are not purely just for cosmetic reasons. Any of...

Best shop for transmission build in/around Colorado Springs

Hate to hear that but glad I got mine done when I did. I'm less than 400 miles away from Goerend and drove down to drop my truck off for the install and have had zero issues since. Dave is definitely a knowledgeable guy and will definitely get you situated if that's the route you choose. I...

3" vs 6" is bigger really better?

I have the Carli Starter kit but would have bought the Back Country if I could have. I did buy the adjustable track bar and the control arms and run it with 35" Toyo's and it handles beautifully. I did want the remote resevoir shocks and the Back Country would have come with the track bar as...

Best shop for transmission build in/around Colorado Springs

If you're going to be adding a bit of power and want a serious one built ATS is in Denver. Or call Dave at Goerend (St. Lucas, IA) and talk to him about people he deals with. He will only put his stamp on a transmission shop after he's spent time talking with them and ensuring they aren't some...

    Tunner questions

I would look into EFI Live vs any of the other tuners and I've ran the smarty and edge on mine previously.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission leveling kit

I've had both on a 3500 3rd Gen. I bought a set of leveling 2. 5" spacers and installed them and was already running 295's on it. It did just fine with no issues except a rougher ride. If you're going to level the front end at a bare minimum I would suggest a set of bilstein 5100's built for the...
