    I am in the middle of putting in 370s in place of my 215s. i have heard to use the thinner washer so the injecter will sit further into the cylinder. My question is, the 215s have a thinner washer on them now than what came with the 370s, do I use them, or is it bad to reuse those washers...

    When I pull my 9,000 lb 5er I try to keep the rpm up in the 1900 to 2500 range. Any less than that and she will get hot quick. Of course with the 5 speed I can use 4th gear for the highway and 5th for the interstate. Seems to keep me in the sweet spot. I am not sure how to do that with an auto...

    JB, I think your gage should work as long it does not bottom out when you turn the motor back wards. All you need is enuff length to find the end of the plunger lift and set you reset you gage to zero for a starting point. My snap on set came with snap on instuctions. I will have to look for...
