A couple of years ago my 03 dually was struck from the rear by a Mustang doing about 80mph. I was doing about 35mph. Small dent to bumper, crimped fender underneath the plastic wheel fender and a small crack in the plastic. Didn't look too bad, but insurance paid out nearly $4000. 00 for repair...

    48RE Transmission Fixed!

I'm sorry I can't advise, as I didn't ask and it wasn't listed on my paperwork. I have the paperwork in front of me now and there is no reference to a TSB. I will attempt to find out what TSB it is on Monday. I'll call the service manager and ask.

    48RE Transmission Fixed!

A while back I posted about problems I was having with my transmission after getting the 30,000 mile service done. 2005 Park/Reverse recall fix?

Just had my 05 in for door seals and the dealership did the TSB for the park/reverse recall. I was advised that they had no choice but to do the TSB for liability reasons. Guess I will just leave the door shut when backing!

    Tire Cracking

I appreciate all of the feedback. I had a look at the Firestone tires and they look pretty good price wise compared to the Michellins. I think I will be giving them a try. I had Firestones on a Ford f-150 many years ago and they lasted over 70,000. I was pleasantly surprised. I'll give updates...

    Tire Cracking

I am considering replacing the Goodyear Wrangler GSA tires on my dually, as all of them have developed cracks around the rims. Two have already been replaced. I was wondering how the General tires are wearing on the new trucks? Any feedback would be appreciated. How often are members rotating...

2005 owners, How are things holding up?

I purchased my 2005 in June 05. I currently have 34,000 miles with only two small problems. The paint on the dually fenders is extremely thin and the primer is showing through and the lumbar support is broken. Both of these items will be repaired under warranty. Approximately 18,000 miles of the...

What are the best brake pads, rotors and rear brake shoes for a Dodge one ton

Brakes I just had the 30,000 mile service done on my dually after pulling a fifth wheel for 14,000 miles. The tech advised I had about 50% remaining on the front factory pads and about 75% on the rears. I drive an automatic with no exhaust brake.
