Do you have gauges? like EGR---if so did you notice that the EGR temp went out of sight Immediately. I have had this same scenario but mine is a manual. It would cause it to have NO power at all until the butter fly would then open in the pipe. I have less mileage on mine than you do. Solution is replace the cylinder. The seals do ware out. The person I talked to said that the seals are non-replaceable. They tried to unscrew one to check it out, and broke the cylinder. If you have one use the lube oil they have for it. not just any lube.
 
No.........don't have an EGR gauge. I do need gauges. It does sound like the same scenario. I do have the lube oil from Pacbrake..............Thanks
