I was thinking about lifting my cummins, but I can't seem to find very many manufacturers that make a lift for these. I was also wondering what other people's thoughts were on lifting our trucks.

any pictures or insight would be great also. The search got me alot of conflicting information.

I just installed a Revtek 2" leveling kit (raises front end 2") and love it. Unless your looking for a 4" or 6" lift (I believe Superlift has them) to run huge tires and all that, I would highly recommend the Revtek level kit. Installation was simple, no track bar mods needed, no allignment needed, rides and drives as good as stock. Some guys are running 35" tires with just this kit alone. Most are running 315's with a 2" front kit, and they look perfect. Hope this gives you some ideas.

I wanted to run some 35x18s or 19s. It seems as if 33s would fit stock. I just don't want to sacrifice too much mileage or ride quality.

How much lift does the first picture (Superlift) have on it? It doesn't say, looks good to me.

How do you like the superlift? Looks good. Also, what size are 315s in inches?

Truck rides great with the Superlift on. Only thing I'm looking to change is replacing the shocks that came with the kit to some Bilstein shock. The ones that are on their started rusting during the winter and feel a little soft after a year of having them on.

Also 315 tire is about a 34. 5" tire. I went out and measured mine on my truck and they are about 33".

Here is a picture of mine with a 6" superlift with 37"mtr tires,So far so good a little bit of adjusting b#ad
ut everything is good,DAVE..... :--)

Hey Dave, how's the ride and mileage? I can't decide if I want 37s or 35s, or the 4" or the 6" kit. I hate the feeling that's everything coming loose on some lifted vehicles...

While the bigger trucks look cool I vote for the 2" level kit if you have to go higher. That with 35" tires makes for a pretty darn tall truck while keeping the solid factory feel.

Any change to the front, even 2" will require an alignment/toe reset. Due to the way the steering linkage is designed you will find that raising the front will pull the front tires in which will accelerate outside edge tire wear.

If i had my time back i would have gone with the 4" and the 35" tires. Reason beeing is the 6" lift affected my handling a bit and the 37,s wear to quick and they are to expensive to be replacing every year, also the bigger tires sucked out some power. But on the other side of things its really good in the mud and i get alot of compliments on how good it looks lifted. DAVE...

T-Rex if you want 35's (315's) & you want to maintain the geometry & good handling of the truck. And the Bilsteins keep the ride nice. I met up with a TDR'er a few days ago so he could check the T-Rex out with the Bilsteins as compared to Fox, and he commented on the smooth ride. It will give you 2. 5" in the front & 5/8" in the back ( + tires which is another 2" over stock)

BTW, I had the 315's on for a couple of weeks before I did the suspension, and they fit fine with no rubbing.

saw a couple trucks w/ 325s and 355s. What sizes are those? Looked good... I think im going to go w/ the 4" Superlift and 35s. :D

I would personally go with the Skyjacker kit with replacement leaf springs or an add-a-leaf. The Superlift kit uses a block to lift the rear of the truck. Skyjacker has a 2. 5" kit, or a 4. 5 or 5" kit. The reason for the 4. 5 or 5" kit is that trucks with the hemi get 5" while cummins trucks will end up with 4. 5" lift.

Another option is to use the superlift front lift with the skyjacker rear springs. I'm sure you could just buy the individual parts.

I never was a fan of lift blocks.
