'04 Laramie Interior Pics Please

I saw a few threads of people asking for pics of the new Laramie with the fake 'brushed aluminum' trim instead of the wood grain, but I still can't find any pics. The dealers in my area didn't have any on the lot. Somebody out there in TDR land must have one... I need to know... I don't want to order a Laramie if the interior looks like doodoo! I've never been fond of that aluminum interior stuff, but maybe I'll change my mind if I see it. Oh yeah, and let's see pics of both the gray and toupe interiors with the aluminum trim!

Look up member StephenThomas. I know he has a COUPLE of pics of his '04 Laraime interior with the brushed aluminum.



In my gallery, I have a good assortment of pics of my 03 Laraime's Slate interior.

Hmmm... thanks. It's kind of small, but big enough for me to tell that I'd probably be fine without the silver... I'm wondering how that silver and two-tone seats would look in the taupe color scheme... seems like the silver would clash... it looks OK with the dark gray tho. I guess it just comes down to if I wanna pay 4000 bucks for dual zone A/C.

I have the taupe interior. I was in the same situation as you. No truck on the lot to look at. They brought a truck in from another dealer, spec'd how I wanted it. I told them if I didn't like the interior color the freight charges belong to them.



The taupe is real nice. Not what I originally imagined. It is not as light colored as you would expect. The aluminum trim is ok. This is my first experience with heated leather seats. I will not buy another vehicle without this option. They are the nicest luxury item on a cold winter day. Especially when waiting for the CTD to warm up and produce some heat.

Yes but the pictures from the ebay sight make the interior look a little too gray. The interior is not this light colored.



I would think you could travel somewhere in CA and see even a 1500 with the same interior. Here in MT the only dealer with a Laramie w/taupe was 200 miles away.

Yeah, I didn't even think to check 1500's when i went to look... since I have zero interest in buying a gasser... but the inside's gotta be the same.

i like the silver insert around the radio / hvac controls. now, i wonder how it would look if the gauge surround was painted silver to match the radio/hvac surround???

I don't have a pick,but it look fine to me. I did think it looked better with the dark slate grey,so thats what I ordered.

So far it has been very good the biggest problem is that they don't have an ability to adjust the screen contrast and I have problems with my polarized prescription sun glasses find a how to hold my head so I can see the screen.

It tracks very good compaired to my old Garmin STREETPILOT.

While it's great that we have this forum to discuss these things, I think it's pretty sad that they expect us to spend $40K without blinking an eye, and they can't even publish a brochure that we can see some pictures of colors and options. They say go to the website... which is maddening to use and hasn't been updated yet with the correct specs on the engine.
