Hey guys i have had my truck since July of '13 and did not notice this idle stumble when i first bought it.
First some prior history- New injectors in spring of '13 previous owner, FCA in fall of '13 me.
Problem is not happening until truck is over 150 degrees then it ranges from there maybe dependent on ambient temp?? warmer weather 40 degrees n up no sign until close to 190, colder weather seems to make it happen quicker.
Truck has banks ottomind 6 pos. w/ back-downs, i have disconnected it and the batteries to reset problem still evident.
I also get a lag over 50% throttle under load w/ and w/o the programmer. I have a S&B cold air intake also w/ 5" straight.
I had my buddy from Chrysler bring DIAG equip and we plugged it in, watching for pressure on the rail changes, spec said not more than 500psi +/- we saw a dip in the high 400's with the truck acting up, i took a long shot after reading many articles in the TDR magazine and replaced the FCA from GENOS. With the truck on the computer and it acting up all readings were in range with no spikes showing, we dropped injectors all drops read the same no one cylinder showed any more dif then the next. i have replaced 2 fuel filters, ran stanadyne and power svc, just trying to notice a difference.....none???
I feel lost, can anyone point me in the right direction?? I am very reluctant to bring out to local dealer, i feel they are not up to snuff from past experiences.
thanks -Chris
